Durnibar Inspiring Interns 3.0

Durnibar Foundation is a highly acclaimed charitable organization situated in Bangladesh that aims to solve the big problems in today’s Bangladesh, which include eliminating poverty whilst developing the community. Since its establishment in 2012, Durnibar has launched numerous successful campaigns, where its interactions with the youth of Bangladesh has allowed it to organise events with the purpose of community development. What makes Durnibar different from other NGOs is that the entirety of its workforce and volunteers are all very young — from grades 7 or 8 to a university level. So, not only does Durnibar concentrate on improving the lives of the ones who need it the most, but its young base allows it to remain fresh and innovative in doing so. Therefore, working with the organization improves one’s skills, experience and personality and opens the doors for many fantastic opportunities in the future.
Durnibar is extending an offer to those who are interested in making an impact in today’s world. Come work with us at Durnibar Foundation as a Management Trainee Officer (MTO). The available positions are:
– MTO, Creative (Cinematography): Introducing the Creative Department’s newest branch, Cinematography. Durnibar will start producing some high quality original videos to help market our organization. And for that we need some passionate cinematographers who know their craft well. So if you think you’re a prospective Hollywood cinematographer or even a small timer looking for big fame, you can start your cinematic journey right here.
– MTO, Creative (Photography): Durnibar Foundation only summons its photographers during events. Photographers are expected to carry out the crucial duty of taking the amazing photos during events and throughout the year that shall be posted on the event page and on the website. It’s time to showcase your masterpieces.
– MTO, Creative (Writing): If you consider yourself an able artiste of letters and words, this is the place for you. Writing blogs, applications and event descriptions are the main concentrations that this area of specialty entails.
– MTO, Execution and Strategy: The work horses of Durnibar. Most of the responsibilities of the Execution and Strategy Department are manual. Setting venues, planning events, buying materials- all the big stuff.
– MTO, Finance and Accounts: Balance sheets, sponsor applications, figuring out how to balance income and expenses, crunching up the big numbers and making sense of it all is what the finance department does.
– MTO, Human Resources: This is basically the supervising department of Durnibar. Human Resource officers plan, direct, coordinate the administrative functions of Durnibar and look over what all other officers are doing.
– MTO, Information Technology (Graphics): If you find yourself at home spending more time on Adobe Illustrator than anything else, then the graphics team is the place for you.
– MTO, Information Technology (Web Design): Durnibar unveils its new IT department. Anything related to Information Technology will be the job of this department, including Graphics Designing and Web Design.
– MTO, Marketing and Communications: “How to better connect with people” is the question a good marketing officer asks herself all the time. You will be too, once you join one of the most exciting departments in the company!
– Campus Ambassador: Campus Ambassadors are exactly what they are called, Ambassadors of Durnibar. As a Campus Ambassador, you will be representing Durnibar in your school or university and work for better communication between the organization and the students and authorities of your respective institution. This is the secret to becoming popular in class.

Step 2: After screening your online form, we will send you an SMS and call you for an oral interview on 15th May 2018. Before the interview you will have to answer a short questionnaire prepared by your department heads. This is done to help us better understand if you are suited to work in your desired department.
Step 3: Once you have given your interview another screening shall take place to decide who will be joining the team. If you are selected, you will be sent another confirmation SMS.

We are aware that this is an exam season for high-school students and O/A Level candidates. So this time, we are offering a special advantage – if you are selected after your interview, you are only required to attend the first meeting afterwards. Subsequently, you may take a leave for a month and start your work from June.
It is no secret that Durnibar Foundation asks for a considerable level of contribution and dedication from its employees, but it is neither a daunting nor an impossible task. In fact, soon you’ll be having fun and work at Durnibar will no more seem like a job. After your term ends, you will be receiving a valuable letter of recommendation which will help you through your future job endeavours.
