Winter Clothes Drive 2014 –15

Durnibar Foundation is back with Winter Clothes Drive again. Try to set an example for the others. There must be lots of Clothes in your wardrobe that you do not wear at all. Give them to the needy people and utilize them in the best possible manner. It is far better than to put them as a waste at one of the corners of your room. Obviously, it is not going to benefit you in any fashion. Talking about the materialistic advantage, giving them to some unknown person for free of cost too, provides you nothing but huge satisfaction, delight and self-respect.

Contact us, and be a part of our Clothes Distribution campaign. Your support will certainly lift the spirits of those languishing on those streets. When you see some poor person carrying your dress, there is the highest probability that it will give you lots of happiness.

NOTE: ALL VOLUNTEERS (WHO PARTICIPATE IN DISTRIBUTION) WILL GET CERTIFICATES

By far, Durnibar Foundation donated nearly 25,000 items through the Winter Clothes Drive. Given how cold the months of January and February were, our supplies of blankets, warm clothing and related items were in high demand as were our winter coats. With your help, we can raise more winter gear and donations to buy more.

We are collecting the following for men, women, and children:
Winter Coats
Warm Clothing
Blankets / Linens / Sleeping Bags
Socks / Shoes
Mittens / Gloves
Hats
Scarves
Rain Gear

YOUR WORK:
Collect as many clothes and donations as possible by the 15th of January 2015. If possible, donate some money yourself!

If you want, you can join us in the distribution program.

Distribution will take place between 23rd December 2014 and 20th January 2015. If you want to join as a volunteer, you will have to pay BDT 200 only for the Durnibar t-shirt (those who don’t have it already).

This time we will distribute clothes in 4 divisions Dhaka Division, Chittagong Division, Rangpur Division and to Khulna Division to distribute winter clothes and blankets. If you want to join the distribution program for Rangpur, Khulna or Chittagong Division, we will provide Durnibar Foundation’s transport (if you need).
