Ramadan Rituals 2017

The holy month of Ramadan is something we look forward to all year, and it is already upon us. For many of us fortunate ones, the long hours of fasting are made easier with proper meals at Iftar and Sehri, because we can afford them. We also fill up our wardrobes with new clothes to celebrate Eid. Sadly, the same cannot be said for many others. People will be fasting in the scorching heat with not much to eat or drink at other times. These people barely have enough clothes to wear every day, the prospect of new clothes for Eid is out of the question!
If that seems unfair and heart-breaking to you, join this annual event hosted by Durnibar Foundation. This will be divided into three separate events:
Food Distribution on 27th May 2017 (Saturday)

Eid Clothes Distribution on 17th June 2017 (Saturday)

Iftar with Orphans on 21st June 2017 (Wednesday)

We are going to distribute food (rice and lentils) enough for two whole months among many poor families in Dhaka. We will also distribute old and new clothes for Eid celebration among them.
To Volunteers:
Registration fee: 350 Taka (one time payment for both clothes distribution and iftar party). This will be taken for T-shirt (partly) and donation (partly).

Registration is open for participating in “Ramadan Rituals 2017”. To participate, register online at https://goo.gl/forms/LSyauc3l7lPAxUyj1 and complete your registration by submitting your registration fee by coming to Durnibar office (House 25, Road 10/A, Dhanmondi, Dhaka) by 15th June 2017.

Former volunteers who already have the T-shirt need only pay BDT 250 (for donations).
After your online registration is complete, post “Done.” on the event wall to complete your registration.
You are welcome to donate as much as possible, as every contribution counts.
We will organize an iftar party with orphans on the 16th of June (probable date) the details of which will be posted in another event page. All volunteers will also get certificates for coming to the Iftar Party 2017 for supporting our cause and helping some underprivileged orphans do iftar with us.
